Dr. Gail Linn, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Linn earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania and master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Iowa. She has a certificate of clinical competence in Audiology (CCC -A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), where she served as Director of Private Practice and Industry for over three years.
While at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Dr. Linn was asked by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to participate in the evaluation of the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) scale used for hearing protection. In addition, she was asked by the consulting board to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC ) in complying with the mandate for compatibility between cell phones and hearing aids. Dr. Linn is an ex officio on a number of practice documents, including Cochlear Implants, Auditory Integration Training and The Audiologist Role in Occupational Hearing Conservation and Hearing Loss Prevention Programs. Finally, Dr. Linn has been featured in newspaper articles and interviewed by radio and television stations.
